Yesterday is a day that I am especially proud of...Hundreds of thousands of people all across the nation came together for "Tea Parties" that are designed, with the original Boston Tea Party in mind, to express the outrage of the American people about the unbelievably out of control tax problem that has gripped our nation for far too long...The so called "Millionaires Tax", which for some unknown reason starts at $300,000.00 (Congressional Math), is unbelievably unfair...We need a flat tax, somewhere in the neighborhood of 12-15%, in my opinion...This tax would include EVERYONE, regardless of income...The flat tax, based on percentage, is the ONLY fair way to tax the American people...Budgets that call for more spending than we're taking in are S-T-U-P-I-D...Do you hear me Obama and the rest of congress???...Wake up!...You're living in a world where reality doesn't exist...But the American people are the ones paying for it...NO MORE!...We are not being properly represented in Washington by most of our elected officials...
Let me say, on a personal note, that I would like to add term limits to the discussion...I'm tired of the "better than you" crowd that seems to run Washington D.C. year in, year out with no regard for the common man...Their complete and totally out of control disdain for the American people is reprehensible...A 5 term limit for the House of Representatives and a 2 term limit for the Senate, in my opinion, would best serve all...Not only would the "bad" senators and representatives be pushed out if the voters made a bad judgement call, but no "dynasty" could be created that basically lets the established Kings and Lords of the land rule for life (Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Robert Byrd, et al...)
This quote, probably better than any I've ever seen, sums up my current feeling about our current crop of elected officials:
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of
servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in
peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands
which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget
that you were our countrymen."

-Samuel Adams
Term Limits Now!!...
